Profile/Story[]

Attendant of the Ende Family[]

Booker Peynorth is Sorsley Ende's most trusted retainer. As such, he has many duties pertaining to House Ende's welfare.

If the party surrenders Prince Roland in Chapter VII, Part I: A Soul upon the Scales, House Ende will march upon a weakened House Wolffort, hoping to capture the House and bolster House Ende's name. Booker will assist House Wolffort if they ally with House Ende during the battle, and turn against Aesfrost. Booker will attack House Wolffort in this battle if they stay loyal to Aesfrost and defend the demesne from House Ende.

Sorsley Ende opportunistically offers the struggling House Wolffort aide, and gives them a compromise: if they smuggle illegal salt for Sorsley, he will continue to provide aid to the house.

  • If the War Council votes to go to go along with Sorsley's salt trade

Booker is not seen in this route, but it can be assumed he is apprehended by Hyzantian authority after Sorsley Ende's crimes are revealed to the hierophant.

  • If the War Council votes to report Sorsley's salt trade

Booker predicts that House Wolffort would try to trick House Ende by faking a trip to Aesfrost, and decides to give House Wolffort a trick of his own. He ambushes House Wolffort as they prepare to look for evidence in Hyzante, and attempts to kill them to protect Sorsley's saint position. Booker is killed by House Wolffort, but not before proclaiming that they have no chance of exposing Sorsley.
