Chapter XV, Part II: When Our Paths Part is a chapter in Triangle Strategy.

Story[]

Serenoa returns to Castle Wolffort with Benedict where Symon holds a banquet to celebrate his son's accomplishments. Their joy is short-lived, however, as Royalist assassins infilitrate the party and attack Symon. As the former lord lays dying, he reveals to his son the secrets of his birth...Serenoa, he claims, is not his own son, but the late King Regna's.

Conviction[]

Benedict - "Now that we have reclaimed the crown city, what would you do next, my lord?"

Morality "I would prioritize the protection of our demesne. Our fight is not yet over."
Liberty "I would give the people and soldiers a moment to rest. They have earned it, and I doubt another battle awaits us so soon."
Utility "I would restore trade and commerce. They were likely thrown into disarray under the duchy's rule."

Patriatte - "Aye. In any case, I am deeply honored that you would come to greet me personally. Or perhaps there is something on your mind?"

Morality "I heard that you thrived even under the duchy's rule. I am curious as to where your alliance lies?"
Liberty "There is, but we can save it for another time. For now, please enjoy the banquet."
Utility "How are things going in the crown city? Please let me know if you face any shortage of supplies."

Battle[]

Serenoa Wolffort must fend off an attempt by Patriatte to kill Symon and other members of House Wolffort.

Terrain and strategy[]

Healing Symon is a top priority at the beginning of the fight, as he starts with about a third of his HP remaining. Consider placing sturdy units around him that can take some punishment such as Erador, because the larger group by the door is likely best employed taking care of the three Elite Rogues that will drop down from the higher level rather than moving forward right away. The rogues' ability to Act Twice can make them dangerous, especially if they're coming up from behind. Healers are best advanced slightly to be between the two groups so they can move to aid either one. Once the rogues are defeated, it is then time to merge up and deal with the enemies closer to Symon.

Patriatte is a bow user who deals respectable damage with his Edged Arrow, but he isn't so dangerous that he needs to be focused down. It's likely Symon will attack him, and Symon's attacks are quite strong as well. Symon also has a powerful area of effect spinning sword attack with a long reach that can help thin out the regular enemies. It's not a bad idea to take out the Healer and Battlemage early when possible.
