Erika Aesfrost is a non-player character in Triangle Strategy.
Profile/Story[]
Background[]
Erika is a willowy woman with cold blue eyes and pale skin. Her hair is long and sleek, silver/white in color which she styles in a middle part, and tucked back behind her ears. Her lips are thin, and she is always seen with lilac lipstick on that matches perfectly her teardrop amethyst earrings. Her attire is simple but represents her Aesfrosti lineage; a form-fitting red trench coat and mantle with black fur trim around the mantle and sleeves. Around her waist is a ring belt that has an amethyst stone hanging from it.
Erika is the youngest sister of Archduke Gustadolph Aesfrost, and the second youngest child of Zigmunt Aesfrost. Like Gustadolph and Thalas Aesfrost, she is a half-sibling to Frederica Aesfrost, albeit a maligned one much like her other full-blood siblings. She grew up judging others based on their lineage and thus bullied Frederica Aesfrost for being half Rosellan.
Sister of the Archduke[]
Erika is the sister of Archduke Gustadolph Aesfrost, and one of his most trusted advisors. She is also the older sister of minister Thalas Aesfrost. While she is mentioned in Chapter I: A Young Hawk Soars during an optional event, she is first formally seen in Chapter II: To Arms, Brave Warriors. As a dignitaries representing Aesfrost, she and her brother Thalas Aesfrost attend the Norzelian tournament. Eventually, she returns home, dissatisfied.
When the Kingdom of Glenbrook is taken over by the Grand Duchy of Aesfrost, Erika is more than thrilled. She assists her brothers in subjagting Glenbrook's people, and also takes sadistic pleasure in torturing Cordelia Glenbrook
In Chapter XIII, Part I: Our Time Has Come, Thalas Aesfrost and Erika are entrusted with Glenbrook and Avlora while Gustadolph returns to Aesfrost. House Wolffort and the Holy State of Hyzante use this opportunity to attack Whiteholm Castle, in an attempt to liberate Glenbrook from Aesfrost.
- If the War Council votes to flood the capital
General Avlora is lost to the flood, along with numerous Aesfrosti forces. Although Erika and Thalas Aesfrost are able to incapacitate Queen Cordelia with an arrow, they are bested by House Wolffort and killed.
- If the War Council votes to sneak into the castle
While at Whiteholm Castle’s docks, Thalas Aesfrost attempts to load the Aesfrosti warship with expensive artwork, hoping to escape via warship and sell the artwork should things turn sour. Erika Aesfrost catches Thalas in the act, but reluctantly teams up with her little brother to face off against the infiltrating House Wolffort. Erika and Thalas both die to House Wolffort's ambush.
- If the War Council votes to negotiate
Erika and Thalas Aesfrost catch wind of House Wolffort's plan to destroy Whiteholm Castle's bridge, and launch a pincer attack before House Wolffort has a chance to ready the Aelfric. Frederica Aesfrost finally finds the confidence to stand up to Erika, a confidence which invokes fear in Erika's heart. Thalas and Erika die to their older sister's wrath, finally receiving due karma for the years they had tortured Frederica.

Chapter XIII, Part II: Born of Strife and Sadness[]
vs. Serenoa[]
- Erika: Hehehe, House Wolffort is doomed. That's what you get for mixing with the dirty Roselle.
- Erika: You ought to thank me for putting you and your beloved both out of your misery.
- Serenoa: Your tyranny ends today. Any who dare disparage Frederica will have to answer to me!
vs. Frederica[]
- Erika: Frederica...Your existence sullies the Aesfrosti bloodline!
- Erika: But it will be pure again-as soon as I have killed you!
- Frederica: Say what you will. I am proud of the blood that runs through my veins!
- Frederica: I have found people who love me for who I am. No longer will I let you or anyone else make me afraid!
vs. Milo[]
- Milo: Erika or something, isn’t it?
- Milo: Life must be hard for you, being so ugly inside and out. Hehe, let me ease your suffering.
- Erika: How dare you speak to me in such a way! I will kill you for that!
Chapter XIII, Part II: Time to Say Goodbye[]
vs. Frederica[]
- Erika: Well, well, Frederica, you're here too? For a horrid wretch betraying her family, you certainly seem calmer than I'd imagined.
- Frederica: You have never thought of me as family. Not once!
- Erika: Of course not; toys don't count. Go on, cry like you always do.
- Frederica: I am not that naïve anymore. Now I know better than to suffer injustice in silence.
- Frederica: I will never cower before either of you again!
vs. Milo[]
- Milo: Erika or something, isn’t it?
- Milo: Life must be hard for you, being so ugly inside and out. Hehe, let me ease your suffering.
- Erika: How dare you speak to me in such a way! I will kill you for that!
Chapter XIV, Part I: A Steep Cost[]
vs. Roland[]
- Erika: So, Princeling, you've been sneaking around in that little mask like a coward this whole time.
- Erika: Pathetic. Just like the rest of your family. Honestly, the kingdom would be so much better off if your line ended.
- Roland: Silence! You have been a blight upon my kingdom long enough!
