Milo Yuelle is a character in Triangle Strategy.

She is a recruitable character available if the player chooses to visit Lord Symon during Chapter XV, Part I: A Banner's Worth.

Profile/Story[]

Background[]

Milo was originally a dancer, before her stealth and reconnaissance skills were recognized by Minister Idore Delmira. Idore recruits her as a spy for the Saintly Seven, and treats her as a tool rather than a person.

Envoy to the Saintly Seven[]

A dancer who appears almost out of thin air to do the Saintly Seven's bidding. She serves as their spy and can easily hold her own in a fight.- In-game description

Over the course of the game, Milo Yuelle is seen accompanying several saints, presumably under Idore's orders. Milo is the one who offers Silvio Telliore an opportunity to hand over the Roselle to prove his loyalty to Hyzante in Chapter XI, Part I: Oppressions Under the Sun.

Milo meets House Wolffort formally in Chapter XIII, Part I: Our Time Has Come, where she helps them prepare the Aelfric for whichever plan they use to retake Glenbrook. After Glenbrook is reclaimed, Milo will either go along with Serenoa to the Wolffort demesne or return to Hyzante, depending on Serenoa's choice in Chapter XV, Part I: A Banner's Worth.

Dancer[]

A dancer in the service of House Wolffort. She is an emissary of the Saintly Seven, but sees promise in Serenoa and has decided to cast her lot with his house.- In-game description.

If Serenoa visits Lord Symon, Milo goes along with Serenoa. After the events that transpire in Chapter XV, Part II: When Our Paths Part, Milo decides to stay with House Wolffort and see where Serenoa's convictions lead him. Character Stories[]

How You Use It[]

Anna asks if Milo is raising poisonous plants, but the dancer insists that some plants have more than one use...

  • Milo: Oh, just look how you've grown! To think you'd produce such a bounty.
  • Milo: And you've flourished, as well. I'm so proud of you, my lovelies.
  • Anna: Quite the passionate one, aren't you?
  • Milo: ...!
  • Milo: Don't sneak up behind people like that! Hasn't anyone told you it's rude?
  • Anna: ...Apologies. I was just curious. What are you doing here?
  • Milo: If you must know, I'm harvesting herbs.
  • Milo: I thought I might make them into medicine for the injured.
  • Anna: That would be helpful. Lord Serenoa will be pleased as well.
  • Milo: And I am oh so happy to please.
  • Milo: I am quite taken with powerful people. People like Lord Serenoa.
  • Milo: You'll tell him I'm doing my best to be useful to him, won't you?
  • Anna: ...Wait. That plant—it induces paralysis, does it not?
  • Milo: Quite knowledgeable, you are. Did you know it can also be used for pain relief?
  • Anna: The same plant can be both a poison and a medicine?
  • Milo: Yes, depending on how it's used.
  • Milo: And yet people still try to force plants into one category or another. Good, and therefore valuable; or bad, and therefore detested.
  • Milo: Foolish, don't you think? These little ones are neither good nor bad. They just...are.
  • Anna: You treat them as if they were your children.
  • Milo: Perhaps it seems strange to care for a plant, which is no more than a tool for making medicines or poisons, but...
  • Lyla: Minister Idore, about that experiment? I think we are on the verge of discovering how to better stabilize the subject—
  • Idore: Wait. We are not alone. Show yourself!
  • Idore: Milo! Why do you eavesdrop on us?
  • Milo: Don't be upset. As your spy, I thought it'd behoove me to keep abreast of important information.
  • Idore: Unnecessary. You need only do as I instruct.
  • Milo: But that would make me no better than a tool...
  • Idore: Does that displease you? Worry not; I take good care of my tools, so long as they serve me well.
  • Idore: But should they act out of line, they will be...disposed of.
  • Milo: ......
  • Milo: ...Even tools have feelings.
  • Anna: What was that?
  • Milo: Nothing you need concern yourself with.
  • Milo: Anyway, I'm certain my herbs will benefit House Wolffort.
  • Milo: Please pass on my warmest regards to Lord Serenoa.

A Useful Poisonous Plant[]

Anna witnesses Milo doing something unusual in secret...

  • Milo: ......
  • Milo: ...!
  • Milo: I thought I told you not to sneak up behind me like that.
  • Anna: It's been some time since a bird came from Hyzante, hasn't it?
  • Milo: ...!
  • Milo: So you were spying on me. Did Wolffort order this?
  • Anna: No. Lord Serenoa is not the type to have his people surveilled.
  • Anna: But as his retainer, I would be remiss not to keep an eye out for those who might intend him harm.
  • Milo: I suppose there's no fooling you.
  • Milo: Yes, I am Hyzante's spy. Do what you will with me. I fear neither torture nor execution.
  • Anna: We would gain nothing by doing either.
  • Anna: A plant may be poisonous or medicinal, after all. Depending on how we use you, you could still serve House Wolffort.
  • Milo: I am a human being. Do not liken me to a mere object.
  • Anna: Even tools have feelings. You said it yourself, no?
  • Milo: So you did hear me.
  • Anna: You should understand this by now, Milo.
  • Anna: Lord Serenoa would never use you—or any of us—as mere tools.
  • Milo: Indeed, he is too trusting. He would be easy to poison, had I a mind to do so.
  • Anna: Grant peaceful sleep to the wounded beast... What is the meaning of this?
  • Milo: Should House Wolffort rise in opposition to Hyzante, Serenoa is to be killed.
  • Milo: It's a coded message. I only just received it.
  • Milo: My master sees me as nothing but a tool. Now that my identity has been found out, my life is as good as forfeit.
  • Milo: My master...disposes of tools once they are no longer useful to him, you see.
  • Milo: But he cannot dispose of me if I dispose of him first.
  • Anna: Then you will aid us?
  • Milo: No. I will use you.
  • Milo: I may be a tool, but I have my pride. I came here seeking power, that I might protect myself.
  • Milo: To avoid being disposed of, I needed to align myself with a strong house.
  • Anna: You're a tough one, aren't you?
  • Milo: As tough as a weed...and poisonous, too.
